Family and Systemic Constellations is a practice of witnessing and alchemizing the relational truths that live between us: among family members, within organizations, and across the wider web of ecosystems and species, so the hidden orders that shape belonging can be seen, held, and restored.
I work from the belief that love wants to flow freely through a system, but at points of rupture, loss, or trauma, that flow gets interrupted. This modality is an experiential way of reconnecting those points, so the system can feel more coherent.
In a session, we bring in representatives, people, objects, or held images in the mind, to stand in for different parts, people, or energies within your system. We start with an issue: a symptom, a repeating pattern, a decision you're wrestling with, a shift in identity that's asking to happen.
Once your system is represented, we connect with the Field. Information moves through the representatives as sensation, insight, and felt dynamics between them. This Field, sometimes called the Knowing Field, comes from the idea of Morphogenetics, an invisible memory that stores truth across space and time.
When what was hidden becomes visible, we use ritual and soul sentences to help the energy move again to find balance, order, and belonging.
I recently sat with Sikoya for an object constellations session. She possessed deep awareness and intuition around working with the lingering wounds of early childhood and was able to guide me towards the elements of feeling seen and heard in such a way that forgiveness and growth could enter into and integrate with my personal narrative. I am probably repeating something most people acquainted with this modality already know, but I was amazed at how immediately this method allowed me to access a fresh level of emotion and release, and in an intensely, entirely intuitive fashion. As someone who has already done quite a bit of my trauma work and healing, I was deeply impressed and grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Sikoya and trusting her with your process. The session ended in joyful song — and plenty more tears!
Sikoya is a sincerely kind, wise, and loving guide who holds space beautifully for spirit to move through with ease and reverence. Sikoya listens with great depth. Our Family Constellations reading had a profound impact on the way that I perceive my family dynamic and shifted energy around in a big way. We worked with the energy of my Mother, and I cried, released stored tension and grew to appreciate my relationship to her. It helped me recognize where I was being held back. There were threads that Sikoya helped me touch and I'm not sure if or when I would have ever discovered they were tied to me. It's indescribable. My overall expression is altered from this experience. My art, my life at home and my life outside the home have all changed. I can't recommend Sikoya enough!
Sikoya held and guided the entire group so beautifully, from the opening meditation to the close. She is a powerful facilitator, and it was clear this role, though new to her, doesn't feel new at all. She's remarkably natural in this field, bringing deep gentleness and a strong sense of safety to the space. I can't wait to witness and experience more constellations with her.
Not quite, in psychodrama, you or another person is often enacting your own story in a theatrical or scripted manner. In a constellation, representatives outside of you, other people or objects, stand in for parts of your system, and what emerges through them tends to surprise everyone in the room, including the representative. It's less performance, more transmission from outside yourself.
When someone agrees to represent a person, part, or energy in your system, they set aside their own story for a moment and become a kind of receiver. What they feel in their body isn't acting. It's information. This can also be done with objects or meditations.
The Field is the sense that everyone and everything in a system, living, dead, known, unknown, remains connected and holds information together. It's what lets a representative feel something true about a person they've never met. You don't have to believe in it going in. Most people just notice something happening they can't fully explain.
A repeating pattern in relationships. A weight or grief that feels older than you. Estrangement, exclusion, or a family secret. A decision you're stuck inside of. A symptom that hasn't responded to other kinds of support. In general, most sincere issues are good to bring. And I invite you to especially trust if you are being drawn towards this work for a certain issue.
No. Often the work reveals what was lost or forgotten. Mystery is not a barrier.
Constellation work asks for integration time. I'd suggest waiting at least a few months before bringing another issue.
No. It's a direct encounter with your system, guided with care, not talk therapy or advice. I consider Family Constellations to be a more ceremonial or ritualistic type of support. If you're in crisis or need immediate support, this work isn't a substitute for therapy or emergency care, and I'm happy to help point you toward other resources.
I ask for at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be subject to the full session fee.
Integration is part of the work. I'm available by email or a scheduled call if something surfaces afterward that you want to reflect on together.
Sessions involving a larger constellation, with multiple representatives called in, may be priced individually. These sessions typically involve inviting a small group, friends or community members, to represent different parts of your system at once, offering a fuller and more dimensional view of what's moving beneath the surface.
